There've been a few posts recently related to some truly awful animal roleplayers. Because I know where a bunch of them lurk, and because I find this stuff absolutely hilarious, I went out to find the ABSOLUTE WORST examples of animal roleplay on the web. Or, at least, on Avidgamers.

Consider this a list-in-progress. After being tipped off over at the GAFF forums by hortensio to the presence of a number of significant feminist communities on LJ, and after having discovered, by reading Brownmiller's memoir, how very little I actually know about feminism, I've begun to compile a list of books I'm going to read over the summer to educate myself on feminism. I'm also going to try to join a number of communities on livejournal - I already joined feminist_101; now on to ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) feminist and I think there's one out there called feminist rage? I'll also see if I can find something to "counterpoint" those groups for the sake of maintaining a bit of balance, but yeah.
Here's my ever-expanding list of books to read this summer, on feminism or by feminists, and any and all contributions are always welcome.

Yeah, so. Never had an LJ before this; people over on Bad Roleplayers Suck were pissing the hell out of me, however, and I figured that since I love the player-muns over at Dark Mark so much, I might as well get an LJ so I can talk to them while not in character.
